       Carmel L. Mooney has published more than 700 articles and three books. She has published countless articles on family issues, medical topics, autism, disabilities, nutrition and health. She has been a radio talk show host for fourteen years.

Since 2005 she has coached and mentored hundreds of families with developmental disabilities and helped families navigate the complicated maze of therapies and bio-medical interventions available to their children.

In her spare time, Carmel has traveled with her family extensively. She is an award winning cook and gardener. Her youngest daughter is autistic.
